Beverley is a writer and historian who specialises in bringing to life the lives of women from the past.
The Hidden Women of History series looks at the lives of women who achieved greatness in their lifetime but history has since overlooked them.

She is also a proof reader and has undertook work for well known publishers and private individuals.

She is also an avid reader and enjoys mainly historical fiction and crime thrillers.

Edith Rigby was born in Preston and became one of the town's leading campaigners for the rights of women. Her life as a suffragette saw her imprisoned numerous times but she was a brave and courageous woman who fought for what she saw as right and was never deterred from doing the right thing.

Ada, Countess of Lovelace was a mathematical genius of her day. Credited as being the first person to understand the full potential of calculating machines she created the first algorithm. As the daughter of Lord Byron, Ada was destined for a remarkable life.
